This blog represents an exploration of ideas and issues related to what it means to be a disciple of Jesus in the 21st century Western context of religious pluralism, post-Christendom, and late modernity. Blog posts reflect a practical theology and Christian spirituality that results from the nexus of theology in dialogue with culture.
Thanks for your take on this subject John. As a practicing Witch I really hate being associated with Anton LaVey's rituals. I have only met one real Satanic High Priest in all my years of practice, and he a very nice person, educated and very intelligent. I have dabbled in Christianity, but I do not call myself a Christian.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Luna. (On another note, our dialogue work in Ogden was mentioned at Patheos in an essay by Gus diZerega.) O'Donnell's failure to make this distinction is troubling. But we must also be fair to LaVeyan Satanists who do not engage in animal or human sacrifices either. Thanks again for stopping by.
